The most anticipated Hollywood release of this year is the 2018 movie Raabta. The film portrays a love story between two young people, Sahar and Ali, who’s parents arranged their marriage. The wedding night doesn’t go as planned and they end up eloping to escape what they consider an oppressive family dynamic that forces them into a life of servitude.
All the main actors participated in dubbing for this movie: award-winning Iranian actress Taraneh Alidoosti as Sahar and actor Saeed Jaffrey as Ali. The soundtrack of Raabta was released on 22 May, 2018. The music is by Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa of the duo Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy fame. The lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil. The movie was released in theaters on 21 June, 2018.
